Houston Klein Oak four-star cornerback Courtland Guillory has committed to Oklahoma.

He chose the Sooners over Texas, UCF, Texas A&M and others.

“OU recruited me harder than any school and I could definitely feel I was a need and not a want for Coach Venables,” Guillory told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “OU made sure I knew I was a priority for them early on in my recruitment which played a key role in my commitment.”

Guillory is the No. 354 overall prospect and No. 32 corner in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 57 player in Texas.

Brent Venables’ program picked up momentum in Guillory’s recruitment this spring, getting him down to Norman in February for a Junior Day visit, followed by a pair of trips in April — including a visit during Oklahoma’s spring game.

“What stood out is that Oklahoma staff treats me just like family. My relationship with their staff is different from the rest. Their message to me was they really want me to come in and produce early. Coach Venables and [Jay] Valai constantly remind me of how much of a priority I am to their program,” Guillory told Sooner Scoop in April.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder now joins a stacked 2025 recruiting class that has hovered around the top 10 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. He’s the latest DB to join the fold, joining Bauxite (Ark.) four-star safety Marcus Wimberly and Allen (Texas) Frisco Emerson four-star CB Maliek Hawkins.
