Memphis, Tennessee – The Puma Pro16 Circuit came to Memphis for the first circuit stop, a warm-up for next weekend’s live evaluation period. Teams on the circuit are sponsored by the likes of LaMelo Ball, Scoot Henderson, and Michael Porter, Jr. with former NBA point guard Rafer Alston even coaching a team.

The weekend featured 226 teams from across the country and On3 was sitting courtside.

Let’s discuss the top performers from the day.

On3 MVP: 4-star PG Kingston Flemings (2025)

Whenever Kingston Flemings stepped on the floor he had complete control of the game. The 6-foot-1 point guard played with an excellent pace, which enhanced his quick-twitch speed getting to his spots. What stood out about his game was the reads. His ability to process, in traffic, off a live dribble earned open shots for himself and his teammates. Flemings is a good defender, moves his feet well, and has quick hands. He finished well at the rim, even showing some explosive pop with multiple two-handed dunks. Flemings had a game high 37 points while adding 14 rebounds and six assists in the Saturday morning win. He made a lot of winning plays.

2. 4-star PG Eli Ellis (South Carolina)

Eli Ellis has a flair for the dramatics, and the 6-foot-1 guard showed that on Saturday with two game winners. The four-star Ellis brought a standing-room only for both of his games and he ended up delivering in both. The second game, televised on the Peacock Network, ended with a 70-68 wing for Ellis’ TLBA team. Ellis had 18 points, going 7-8 from the free throw line with eight rebounds and seven assists. Even if the shot is not falling for the South Carolina commitment, his finger prints are all over the game.

3. 4-star G Kayden Edwards (2025)

Kayden Edwards’ Friday night performance was as good of a showing as I have seen from the guard position. One thing I have been wanting to see from Edwards was how he reacted as a primary initiator in the half-court. The lefty exploded for 41 points playing expertly in the pick and roll as he snaked through the defense finding open space. Edwards showcased a quick handle with good wiggle. He scored at each level. During his Saturday morning game, Edwards finished with 32 points, going 6-10 from three and 10-11 from the free throw line. The development is obvious.

4. 4-star PF Chris Cenac (2025)

Chris Cenac continues to showcase intriguing upside, the same upside that got him No. 18 in the most recent 2025 On3 150 update. The 6-foot-10 forward’s offensive skill set was what popped on Friday night. He has good length and unique fluidity for a guy his size. He scored the ball from multiple levels, showing the ability to create opportunity in the mid-post and step into a catch and shoot three (twice). While Cenac battled foul trouble his impact on the game was clear. He finished with a double-double, going for 17 points and 11 rebounds and finishing 7-10 from the field. He continues to get better each time out.

5. 3-star G Kelvin Odih (2025)

Kelvin Odih is coming off a high school season that saw him play off the ball. For this Rhode Island Elite team, the 6-foot-4 guard is primarily on the ball. He shined in that role. The strong-framed guard put relentless pressure on the rim, using his quick-twitch and aggressive nature to touch the paint. He distributed well, played under control, and guarded with a purpose at the point of attack. He finished with 25 points on Saturday, going 7-8 from the field and 10-11 from the free throw line.

6. 4-star Nik Khamenia (2025)

Nik Khamina affects the game. Simply put. The 6-foot-7 forward can handle, shoot, and pass as well as clean up on the boards. In fact, his passing skills might have been the most impressive piece of his game. The BTI team was at its best on Saturday when plays were initiated by Khamenia. If he did not get the direct assist, he had the pass that got the man open. Khamenia is an excellent area rebounder and is a good shooter when his feet are set. He finished his game on Saturdaay with 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

7. 3-star PF Gevonte Ware (2025)

There is a steadiness to Gevonte Ware’s game that we have come to expect. The 6-foot-9 post player showed multi-level scoring ability finishing with both hands when his back is to the basket and facing up to attack downhill. HIs ability facing up was a takeaway in this one. From the wing or the mid-post, Ware created opportunities with the ball. He also rebounded in and out of his area very well. Ware is one that could see a recruiting boost during the live periods. On3’s No. 93 player in 2025 finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds in Saturday’s win.

8. 4-star C Xavion Staton (2025)

There is a very good conversation to be had that surrounds Xavion Staton as the top rim protector in high school basketball. The 7-foot-0 center affects things at a high level around the basket. He has explosive pop, excellent length and great timing. On the offensive side of the ball, he is still developing. He has good hands with ball thrown above his chest and he shows some touch. Right now, plays outside of putbacks and stuff from the dunker spot is still flashes on the offensive side. His ability to affect play around the rim is what lands him on this list. In his Saturday evening game, Staton finished with 16 points going 8-8 from the field.

Other Puma Circuit Top Performers

4-star SF Aidan Chronister (2026) has a good feel for the game. Standing in the 6-foot-6 range, the shooting guard has a smooth shooting stroke with great balance. He also moved well off the ball, cutting with a purpose and finding easy baskets that way. He is playing up on the 17u level, and finding his way. Chronister finished with 14 points and five rebounds while shooting 2-5 from three in his Saturday game.

4-star SG Joe Sterling (2026) has a strong frame with good length. He is a very confident player with the ball. He has range that extends well beyond the arc and he knocked them down off the catch and off the bounce. Sterling finished his Saturday morning win with 16 points and six rebounds going 3-7 from three.

3-star PG Evan Sterck (2025) is a tough-minded and gritty-type lead guard. He plays with a good pace and seems to consistently make plays around the ball. The 5-foot-11 guard showed a confident handle and he knocked down shots at multiple levels. He saw the floor well and has nice use of hesitation dribbles to get to his spots. He finished with 15 points, going 5-10 from the field.

PG LJ Rush (2025) has flair, but he also has a strong skill base. Stading 5-foot-10, the point guard touches the paint often, using a quick first step and crafty handle. He also finished above the rim on multiple occasions on Saturday. He has consistently been one of the better PGs on the circuit this weekend.

PF Chris Lindo (2025) has made it hard to ignore his production throughout the event. The 6-foot-8 forward has simply finished around the basket and cleaned up the boards for his team. He finished his first two games with a double-double in each of them. His third game he had 16 points and six rebounds, going 8-11 from the field. His offer sheet should grow during the live period.

3-star G Cameren Paul (2025) is an explosive athete with good length and explosive pop. The 6-foot-6 wing also showed some passing acumen. While the jump shot needs to tighten, the defensive upside is obvious as his game appears to be on an upward trajectory. Paul finished his Saturday game with 12 points, going 5-10 from the field with two assists and a block in the win.

3-star F Quinten Rhymes (2025) has a good basketball frame and was able to make plays on both ends of the court. The 6-foot-6 wing is a good athlete, which he showed in transition, and showed the upside to guard multiple spots on the defensive end. he finished with 13 points and six rebounds with two steals in Saturday’s games.
