The road to the Final Four is nearing its finish line. Saturday is the first set of Elite Eight games, with Clemson vs. Alabama as the nightcap.

The Tigers are gearing up for their second-ever Elite Eight appearance after stunning No. 2 Arizona 77-72 on Thursday. Later in the night, though, Alabama and North Carolina squared off in an exciting back-and-forth affair, with the Crimson Tide coming out on top with the second upset of the day, 89-87.

The oddsmakers and metrics are also weighing in on Saturday’s matchup, with the slight edge going to Alabama.

Odds for Clemson vs. Alabama

Alabama opened as a 1.5-point favorite over Clemson, according to DraftKings. The over-under opened at 165.5.

Alabama and Clemson previously faced off this year in the ACC-SEC Challenge. In that game, the Tigers came out on top 85-77 fueled by 21 points from P.J. Hall.

Like DraftKings, KenPom also gives the slight edge to Alabama. The Crimson Tide have a 58% chance of pulling off the 83-81 victory in its projections.

Clemson was the No. 19 team in the overall KenPom rankings as of Thursday night, while Alabama came in a few spots ahead at No. 14. The Crimson Tide possess one of the highest-rated offenses in the country, ranking No. 4 in KenPom.
