Lole brings significant experience and fills a critical defensive tackle need, as highlighted by head coach Steve Sarkisian.

Lole can play multiple gaps and offers valuable depth to the Texas defensive line, especially in base three-man fronts.

His standout 2019 season included 71 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks, providing Texas with a high-potential on-year player. He had 24 tackles in four games in 2020 before sitting out the remainder of the season.

In his career Lole has 141 tackles, 25.0 TFL, 12.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, 10 passes defended, and three forced fumbles.

Flipping Lole from Oklahoma strengthens Texas while simultaneously weakening their Red River Rival.

Lole’s presence allows other players like Alfred Collins and Vernon Broughton to rotate efficiently, enhancing Texas’ defensive depth.
