Texas will host Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. The Longhorns will travel to Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.

SEC play is scheduled to begin on Saturday, January 4 and run through Saturday, March 8. According to a SEC release, each team will play the other 15 opponents at least once during league play. Three teams will be two-time matchups; two of those three teams are permanent opponents while the other will change yearly.

Other known matchups are the season-opening neutral site battle with Ohio State in Las Vegas, a home game against UConn, the Legends Classic in Brooklynn, N.Y., Houston Christian and Delaware State at home, and an Atlantic Coast Conference team in the SEC-ACC Challenge.

The Longhorns’ debut season in the SEC will be Terry’s second as full-time head coach of Texas. During the 2023-24 season, Terry led the Longhorns to a 21-13 record with the season culminating in a second round loss to Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament. In 2022-23 as the interim head coach, Terry was 22-8 and led Texas to a Big 12 Tournament title and an appearance in the Elite Eight.
