LSU over Kentucky
LSU's RPI currently sits at 27. If they could beat UK and move into the Top 25, that would give us 2 more Quad 1 wins.

We also need to be routing against all teams we're competing with for a Host spot: Duke, Wake Forest, Oklahoma State, ECU, Indiana State, UCSB

Thanks for putting that together. It does seem like the less important ones are breaking our way while the ones that have a more direct impact on our hosting chances are not. Am I wrong there?

This gives a pretty good guide I think:
For some reason that report misses stuff. Today it’s missing Jackson State’s game.

We’re getting more help than hurt with regards to our previous opponents, but our rivals for hosting purposes are holding firm.

Fair enough. It's the only one I know to use.

Indiana State losing should help., a win by State over A&M now and we just might get a host spot

Just wanted to close the loop:

FIU over Western Kentucky - YES
Evansville over Illinois State - YES
LSU over Kentucky - YES

GA Tech over UVA - NO
New Mexico State over Dallas Baptist - NO

Southern Miss over Coastal Carolina - YES
Arkansas over South Carolina - NO
Central Arkansas over Lipscomb - YES
Jackson State over Texas Southern - YES
Mount Saint Mary's over Canisius - YES

Pittsburgh over Wake - NO
Middle Tennessee over LA Tech - NO

Southern Illinois over Indiana State -YES
Vanderbilt over Tennessee -YES

Pepperdine over Saint Mary's College - NO
Va Tech over NC State - NO
UNO over SE LA - NO

Georgia Southern over James Madison -YES
Texas Tech over OK State - NO

So, our rooting interests went 10-9 yesterday. Beating A&M was our real needle mover. Warren Nolan is showing the Vandy game today having about a 47 RPI point swing (+22 with a win, -25 with a loss). Not only that, it's about a 50 point RPI swing for Vandy (+24 with a win, -26 with a loss) and there's only an 11 point RPI difference between us right now. I'd love to get some separation.
