Addison (Texas) Trinity Christian Academy three-star interior offensive lineman Jaylan Beckley has decommitted from Clemson, he announced on Friday. He was pledged to the Tigers since Jan. 28.

Beckley is the No. 648 overall prospect and No. 47 IOL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 106 player in Texas.

“I am so thankful to Coach Swinney, Coach Riley, and the entire coaching and support staff at Clemson.
There are so many people that took the time to recruit me and made a sincere effort to build a relationship with me and my family. I met some incredible people at Clemson, including the other recruits, awesome Clemson fans, reporters & more – I truly wish them all the very best and I hope to maintain some of those relationships going forward,” Beckley wrote in his announcement.

…After much prayer, reflection, and countless discussions with my family and mentors, I’ve decided that I need more time to make this very big decision about where I will spend the next 3-5 years for my college career. The final decision was mine alone, and I do not take it lightly. I have nothing but love for Tiger Town. Thank you for all that continue to support me on this journey, I’m extremely blessed to have some incredible opportunities ahead. My recruitment is officially re-opened.”

The loss of Beckley brings Clemson’s commitment total in the 2025 class down to 10. The Tigers still check in with the No. 4 overall class in the nation, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Clemson Class Breakdown

Clemson’s class consists of eight blue-chip prospects, including the nation’s No. 21 recruit in Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford. Watford pledged to the Tigers near the end of January.

“Clemson is a very unique place,” Watford told On3. “The people there and the family-oriented culture Coach Swinney has built stood out to me. People go to Clemson go for the right reasons and that’s something I’ve wanted to be a part of growing up.”
