Livvy Dunne shares her emotions ahead of Senior Day
On Friday, LSU gymnastic will honors its seniors as it hosts North Carolina in the final regular season meet of its season. LSU gymnast and social media influencer Olivia “Livvy” Dunne will be a part of the celebration. On Monday, Dunne revealed her emotions ahead of the event.
“As of right now, I’m just treating it like it is another meet,” Dunne said. “There’s still unfinished business. But, we will be celebrating the seniors and the amazing fifth-years, six-years and fourth-years, so I’m very excited.”
Dunne has become an NIL superstar during her college career at LSU, ranked No. 3 on the On3 NIL 100, only behind Bronny James and Shedeur Sanders with an On3 NIL valuation of $3.5 million. Dunne boasts 12.4 million followers between her Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok accounts.
Regarded as “the most followed NCAA athlete on social media,” Dunne has landed big time sponsorships from from Vuori Clothing, American Eagle, Plant Fuel, Bartleby and others throughout her career. During the press conference on Tuesday, Dunne also addressed if she will return for a fifth year at LSU.
“I’ve not decided if I’m coming back for a fifth year yet,” Dunne said. “I could, but I haven’t really thought about it yet. I’m so focused on the end of this year and bringing home the national championship.”

Prior to joining LSU in 2021 Dunne qualified for the 2020 Nastia Liukin Cup, competed at the 2016 and 2017 P&G Championship, and 2017 U.S. Classic. Earning WCGA Academic All-American honors as a true freshman at LSU for the uneven bars.
Dunne continues to specialize in the bars, posting a 9.875 score matching teammate Kiya Johnson on the bars in the team’s most recent meet at the Podium Challenge in Raising Cane’s River Center. With Dunne also matching career high with a 9.900 in the leadoff spot on floor.
LSU moved back up to No. 2 in the national polls and only trail Oklahoma after finishing on top at the Podium Challenge over No. 14 Auburn, George Washington, and Texas Woman’s. Where they scored their second highest score of the season at 198.425, which set a new program-high road score.
The Tigers’ NQS score of 198.125 represents their best in program history, as Livvy Dunne will continue focusing on trying to make history by helping LSU secure their first ever national title before deciding her next move.
