“I’m a floor general,” Jones told On3. “We got a lot of shooters on the team, so my job is to facilitate and get them in positions to knock down shots. I can do a lot of things if the coach needs, though; I can score, I defend.”
After our most recent update (Click Here), the four-star, who carries double-figure offers, claimed an offer from Oregon.
“The head coach, Coach (Dana) Altman, he called me with my travel coach Dwayne Wise, and coach Altman offered me on the spot,” Jones said. “Coach told me he wanted toughness in his program, and he loves how I’m a tough guard and can run a team.

“It was a big offer, and it felt amazing. I played up on 17u with Team Durant last year, my teammate Kwame (Evans) committed there, so it was a good feeling.”
In Jones words
“I’m going to see whichever program makes it feel like home. That’s really it,” Del Jones said. “How they communicate will play a role and the consistency of the program, all around.
“I’ll look to see how they fit my style, and I want to play for a coach who is going to let me go. I like to play fast-paced with a lot of ball screens to get into actions and movement.”
