On3 4-star CB Kevin Levy commits to Rutgers Scarlet Knights

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman cornerback Kevin Levy has committed to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He announced the news on social media.

He chose the Scarlet Knights over Florida, Florida State, Louisville and others.

The 6-foot-0, 170-pound defensive back is the No. 616 overall prospect and No. 65 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 83 player in Florida.

Rutgers extended an offer to Levy on March 4. He took his first visit to the school the first weekend of June for an official visit.

On3 rates Levy significantly higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 177 overall prospect, No. 21 cornerback in the country and No. 27 player in Florida.

With his commitment, Levy is the 22nd pledge in Rutgers’ 2024 recruiting class. The group is ranked well ahead of where the 2023 class finished. That group was the No. 59 class in the country while the 2024 class is currently ranked No. 35 in the country and No. 11 in the Big Ten.

The class is highlighted by a pair of On3 Industry four-star recruits. They are Riverhead (N.Y.) St. Anthony’s tight end KJ Duff and Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic safety Kaj Sanders.
