Miro Little has committed to Utah out of the transfer portal.

Little made his commitment to the Utes on social media on Tuesday afternoon.

Little played the one and only season of his career so far at Baylor last year.

While in Waco, he appeared in all but one of the team’s games as a reserve with 34 outings. He averaged 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds as a Bear while shooting 42.9% from the field and 36% from three in seven minutes per game.

Little, a native of Finland, played his high school basketball at Sunrise Christian in Kansas. He was a four-star prospect as the No. 48 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as the No. 11 SG in the class and the No. 3 player out of the state behind only two of his teammates in Matas Buzelis (G-League Ignite) and Layden Blocker (Arkansas, DePaul).

Little committed to Scott Drew amongst a trio of Top-50 prospects alongside five-star Ja’Kobe Walter (No. 9, No. 2 SG) and four-star Yves Messi (No. 29, No. 4 C). Those three gave Baylor the No. 5 class per On3’s 2023 Industry Basketball Team Recruiting Rankings.

Little decided to enter the portal two weeks ago. Per On3’s 2024 Transfer Portal Top Players, he was the No. 236 overall transfer and the No. 43 SG.

Little is now one of four transfers to leave the Bears this offseason in the portal. Ironically enough, their other transfer to commit somewhere to this point, PF Caleb Lohner, also committed to Utah. However, he will be doing so amidst a change in sport as he joins the Utes’ football program. Dantwan Grimes and Austin Sacks are also transferring from the team.

As for Utah, Little is the fourth new addition for their team under Craig Smith. Zach Keller (Wake Forest), Mason Madsen (Boston College), and Keanu Dawes (Rice) have also joined as part of that quartet. Jake Wahlin also returns after entering and then withdrawing his name from the portal.

They come in after the Utes lost four players of their own to the portal. Deivon Smith (St. John’s) was the most significant departure as the No. 21 overall transfer and No. 4 PG. They also lost Rollie Worster (Nebraska) along with Keba Keita and Wilguens Exacte Jr..
