The momentum keeps rolling for the Florida State football staff. Not only did the Seminoles land their second transfer of the week on Wednesday when former Auburn linebacker Cam Riley announced he would become a Seminole, but On3’s Steve Wiltfong dropped yet another prediction for FSU to land a blue-chip lineman.

Wiltfong, who is On3’s vice president of recruiting and transfer portal, has put in an RPM pick for Myron Charles, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive tackle from Port Charlotte, to end up at Florida State. The Seminoles now are a 91.5 percent favorite to land Charles, according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, after picks from Wiltfong and Warchant’s Michael Langston and Matt LaSerre.

These predictions come on the heels of Charles taking multiple visits to Florida State this year. He was on campus for a Junior Day in January as well as for the Seminoles’ Legacy Weekend in March.

According to On3, Charles is a-top 60 player in the 2025 class, the nation’s No. 4 defensive lineman and a top-10 recruit in the state of Florida.

After each visit to Florida State this year, Charles has stated that Florida State was the leader in his recruitment.

“I would say so,” he said. “They are doing things the right way, know how to recruit and develop while you are here.”

During his most recent visit to Tallahassee, Charles got the chance to chat with L.A. Rams second-round draft pick Braden Fiske, which made FSU stand out even more.

“He said it’s the best decision he’s ever made in his life,” Charles said. “Not really trying to recruit, but talking player to player. The benefits of coming here and how much he’s learned from Coach Odell [Haggins] and how much he developed. That’s big. Seeing Odell and all the guys he’s developed is huge.”

Charles actually has been high on Haggins and the Seminoles for quite some time. When he visited in April of 2023, the defensive tackle was predicting big things for Florida State.

“I definitely expect this program to be huge in the upcoming years,” Charles said, adding that Haggins was his top recruiter. “We’ve been talking for a while. Me and Odell, we have a nice relationship building up. Seems like a really honest man — tells it like he sees it.”

Earlier this week, Wiltfong put in a prediction for FSU to land five-star offensive tackle Josh Petty.
