Vince Marrow On Kentucky's National Signing Day

Recruiting in the class of 2025 is off and running. Kentucky’s coaches hit the recruiting trail last week to conduct campus visits. While out on the road, numerous scholarship offers were given out. Perhaps the most noteworthy occurred in the Peach State.

Cedartown (Ga.) High rising junior Tae Harris is a top-250 recruit who had been committed to Georgia since June 19. That changed on Sunday when the top 30 player in Georgia decommitted from the Bulldogs following assistant coach Fran Brown leaving Athens to become the next head coach at Syracuse.

“I have been thinking about this for a while now,” Tae Harris told On3. “Since the coaching change, things just have been shaky with Georgia, so I want to explore my options a bit more. I am open to all schools now.”

Kentucky entered the chat with a scholarship offer on Thursday when defensive line coach Anwar Stewart visited Cedartown High. Tae Harris could be a player to watch closely moving forward.

The four-star prospect has taken visits to Florida and Georgia Tech this month. If Kentucky can get the defensive back on campus for an upcoming junior day that could help make the Wildcats a legitimate contender in this recruiting battle.
