When it comes to the linebacker position for Notre Dame, head coach Marcus Freeman and defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Al Golden have no shortage of options heading into 2022. Per Golden, the depth chart has yet to be set despite the fact that is it made up of veterans — including last year's leading tackler JD Bertrand. In other words, there is room for underclassmen to step up and make their case.
