The Penn State Class of 2024 was signed just over a week ago, and 16 are on their way to enroll at Penn State in January. It’s an interesting recruiting valley before the dead period shuts the doors on recruiting visits for the month. Recruiting is a mercurial and finicky thing. You can’t predict how a player will choose his school, and you certainly can’t pick how he will ultimately turn out. The best you can do is judge the criteria that best predict success and try to fill in the gaps. While we wait for the Nittany Lions to tee off against Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl, here are my Class of 2024 defensive superlatives.
