Texas football is actively recruiting for the 2026 quarterback class. The team has sent out three offers to top QB prospects, two of whom remain uncommitted. Those two are Dia Bell and Troy Huhn. This recruitment period is crucial as Texas looks to secure a quarterback early in the cycle to help lead the team.
Both prospects are highly rated, with Bell nearing five-star status and Huhn praised for his pocket presence. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian looks for QBs who can operate well within the pocket but also have the mobility to evade pressure.
Early commitments are strategic, allowing Texas to secure a leadership figure within the team. Committing early allows the quarterback to help recruit other players, building a strong cohort for the future. The group goes over what Bell and Huhn bring to the table for both on- and off-field aspects.
