Alabama transfer wide receiver Shazz Preston commits to Tulane

After entering the NCAA transfer portal, former Alabama wide receiver Shazz Preston has committed to play at Tulane ahead of the 2024 season, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Preston joins Tulane following two seasons with the Crimson Tide, making 10 total game appearances during his Alabama career. He did not record any stats in his limited game action in Tuscaloosa, helping provide depth at the receiver position and contributing on special teams, but he’ll look to make an impact with the Green Wave in year one under new head coach Jon Sumrall.

Preston played high school football at Saint James (LA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 50 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
