Georgia OL transfer Joshua Miller commits to Syracuse
Georgia offensive lineman transfer Joshua Miller has announced his commitment to Syracuse. He’s a former three-star recruit in the 2023 class.
Miller, a true freshman this season, ranked as the No. 534 overall prospect and No. 51 interior offensive lineman in the 2023 cycle in the On3 Industry Rankings, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. The former three-star recruit played his high school football at Life Christian Academy, hailing from Colonial Heights, VA.
As a recruit, Miller was heavily linked to the Penn State Nittany Lions before joining the Bulldogs. He was also recruited by the Virginia Cavaliers, Clemson Tigers and North Carolina Tar Heels, among others.
The Orange finished the 2024 season with a 6-7 record, losing in the Boca Raton Bowl to USF 45-0. Former head coach Dino Babers was let go after a 5-6 start and promptly replaced by former Georgia defensive backs coach Fran Brown — which could have played a role in Miller’s ultimate decision.
