This may have addressed somewhere else, but I haven't seen it. My understanding is that the playoffs will be shortened by a round (or possibly two, 1A!) next year. If so, do you see it being reasonable/doable to add back the 11th regular season game? 12 weeks, 11 games, 1 open week.

Well now, let me tell you, shortening them playoffs while bringing back that 11th regular season game sure does sound like a mighty fine idea! It’s a win-win for our teams and the good folks in the stands. By cutting down those playoff rounds, you're giving the players the chance to rest up and get back in top shape, and that’s real important for their health and performance. Sometimes you have to stand up for what’s best for the players and fans.
I realize the playoffs were pushed back by a week this year but to be playing High School football literally 4 days before Christmas is ridiculous and I'm for whatever steps that can be taken so that doesn't become the norm going forward.
Took a historical flood that we won’t see for at least another 100 years for that to happen. That won’t be the norm.
He was referring to when the season ends. When has the season ended the week of Christmas on a consistent basis?
