Watson doesn't seem to be nearly the player he was last year. He was the rare kid who was lethal with his feet, and could beat you throwing it too. Now, seems very cautious - pretty ineffective when trying to run. Like he wants to prove he can be just a pocket passer. (I know FSU has some athletes making it hard for him to get much on the ground, but he's looked the same all year to me)
Even if Clemson loses tonight, they'd have to lose again in one of their last 3 conference games for Louisville to pass them and get a berth in the ACC title game. They have Cuse, Pitt and ....I forget the 3rd.
Thats crazy, this thing could of went into overtime had FSU hadnt made so many boneheaded plays on that last drive
How about keeping the clock running all the time except for timeouts and the last 2 minutes of each half?
Clemson losing would have sealed Louisville not getting in. Their only hope is to have Clemson undefeated and be the ACC Champs. You wouldn't see two one loss ACC teams in there... and you also wouldn't see Clemson not getting in and Louisville getting in.
Football in general has this problem. The game is too long and often pretty boring.
I live in Louisville so I am just praying they some how don't get in. It would be so bad here.
I don't have the stats, but I believe there are way more snaps/game now than there used to be. Would love to compare today with say, 1965 snaps/game - way more running then.
Net, if true, I'd reduce the quarter length to say 14 minutes to get them back down. Would cut injuries & give the dogs a better chance with their lesser depth.
Replays time are out of hand. Commercials income time will kill the goose at some point imo.
