I did MS Po Boy today. It may be my favorite thing Malcolm Reed has ever put out. I subbed Heath Riles Garlic Jalapeño as the rub and it’s fantastic. I love the Pan Sobao from Walmart. Night Court bitches.

I really like most everyting Malcolm does. Never done this on the smoker but did it twice in the crock pot and thought it was awful. Nobody in our house liked it, don't care for the combination of peppers and Ranch mix in it

And the stick of butter is just preposterous. I left that out and still thought it was merely fine; I'd much rather have regular pot roast.

I saw a recipe for Mississippi pot roast a few years ago and nearly gagged at the thought of the ranch myself. I thought about trying it with Italian dressing mix instead.

I don’t like Ranch. You don’t taste it in the finished product.

I had a very good friend of mine who love Ranch Dressing so much he marinated his steaks in Ranch Dressing.

Needless to say, I never visited his house for a grill outs. Otherwise, he was a great guy.

Part timer, haven’t made the move full time yet but if houses will come back a little we probably will. We keep the motorhome at Terry Cove Motor Coach at least half the year.

We live in cypress loop near the wharf. Absolutely love it (8 months out of the year)
