You should have...but you didnt?

Because we did look crap. And we had no idea USCjr, Vandy and MSU would be so bad either.

That said I would gladly have paid, we have met my goal for this season, everything else is icing on the cake for me. (Assuming we dont lose to AP)
Is UT also now considered a bad team since they lost to USC?

USC is 4-4 now, as is Vandy. But I can tell you that before 1 snap was played this fall, 98% of out fans had the USC game as a "W". We all knew they were in a rebuilding year.

I think UT is a hot mess. Obviously team turmoil and add in all the injuries... not in very good shape.

I totally understand that we can only play who is on our schedule. And as I said, my only goal this year was 6 wins and a bowl one way or another. I am all good.

But people dismissing just how awful our division is this year are fooling yourselves.

Finally, we are taking advantage of it.

Vandy and USCjr games were not that great.

MSU game, despite the close score because of our gift, we really looked much better than they did.

Missouri we came out really kicked their tail.

It has been a very good progression.

My only points on how terrible the division is:

- for those who think we will lose CMS without an extension right now

- the fact the MSU and USCjr, as well as UGA and UT will not stay down, we must continue to improve

All you guys trying to make posters look bad for pointing out how terrible we were, and we were terrible, are not cute. In fact it is a bit immature.

Especially for ones like me who constantly stated I would wait until the end of the season to judge CMS and hoped he could turn it around.

Glad he did.

You want to mock people? Go find guys like andregoudalllawhatever and people who called for banning the games.

Not fans who have been here everyday and were not ok with the product on the field during the beginning of the season.

Look, you're one of the more reasonable skeptics and that's a thousand more times tolerable than some of the BS our fans were throwing around after the first 2 games.

Hell, I was even down on the team and basically done with the season after UF. But I kept an open mind and saw something in them during the Vandy game, and then once we beat USC - after 3 decent defensive performances in a row, I personally got back on the bus.

Yes, the SEC-E is down this year. We all get it. But there have been other years where the SECE was down, and UK was on the bottom of it.

And the skeptics continue to point to the weak SECE as a way to somehow minimize UK's current standing in the SECE. If anything it gives this team some experience in playing in meaningful games this late in the season for say, next year when we could really make a "legitimate" run at SECE (returning 20/22 starters).

Lastly, some of the overtop posters after the UF game quite frankly deserve to be called out for the crap/BS that they spewed on these boards for a few weeks - just based on the absurdity of what was said.

what? at that time we looked horrible. You are lying out of your *** if you deny that. We improved a ton since.

Also... I was right... we shouldnt of just assumed we were beating those two teams seeming how both were close games. No where did I say we would lose those games... I just said not to assume they were wins. and neither game was a cake walk.

Yeah, during that stretch, you were right. Got it.

Nice way to spin it Spin Doctor. Bottom line, some of you "fans" lost it and in your haste have now been made to look foolish. It's cool, it's who we are. I know I got my *** wore out on here when we were 0-2 and I first posted this. I had guys wanted to know if I smoked crack, wanted to make a wager, was just plain stupid or what. After those first 2, our schedule turned back to our favor but that also showed that we grew as a ballclub. Things were said, but to get to 5-3 is a tremendous turnaround. Lets enjoy the ride. Next time lets not turn on one another. We all want the same thing.
