A solid 3A program is playing the Q Foundation? That is disappointing.

Obviously, the GQ Foundation, an outfit of ex-models that decided somewhere along the line they'd rather be scoring touchdowns instead of modeling some prissy *** beach attire, will play anybody any damn whur. Evidently, Asheville has taken up where the Big South left off.

Since yall can manage to travel to Winston-Salem to play 2-A Carver please consider journeying twenty or so more miles to the east, and stop in at any one of the awaiting conglomerate of 3-A schools in Guilford County.

Burns opens with Q Foundation. We were looking at them or having 2 open weeks as we did last year when our schedule got messed up.

Newton-Conover is going to find out what they have real early in the season. It will take a monumental effort to keep it close with the Cougars.

We play who we can play, a lot of those 3a teams could have already been filled. It's hard to find teams with the same open date.

Word is they couldn't find the place. LOL JK. Trouble with Asheville is they are limited in who they can play, or more to the point, who WILL play them, from a revenue standpoint. Any school that has Asheville at home is likely to take their biggest hits before the game even starts... at the gate. I am surprised Pisgah rescheduled them in preference to Swain or Murphy, for that reason.

lol what is your obsession with the Asheville gate? For years that's all the Tuscola faithful have talked about. When we played you guys during the regular season, you talk about it and when we don't play you guys in the regular season you talk about it. But then again, I guess Tuscola football isn't really a fun topic to talk about nowadays, so whatever keeps the attention off of that team in haywood county the better I guess.

I think you will find that similar"obsession" with literally every school without a 79000+ population to draw from, trying to fund their athletic program. All of them DEPEND on that revenue to fund their sports programs. Its not rocket science, just simple math. How many times do you have to have this explained to you? You should be smarter than that. The fact is revenue is the prime consideration in any AD/coaching staff when trying to put together a schedule..

Nice try at deflection. I don't recall mentioning Tuscola. We are speaking about ASHEVILLE.

Hey Mule. Robbinsville got rid of East and North Hendo and picked up Smoky week 1 and Tuscola. I don't know what week we play Tuscola or the location. Do you?
