There you go.!It really is simple! I deal with folks like this all the time and unless they challenge me directly, I ignore the heck out of them because all you do is find yourself waddling in the **** and slime they want you to waddle in!

Here is what I will say. Lumberton hasnt won more than 5 games since 2011. They have combined to win 4 games in 2 years and while I dont know the exact # I would be SHOCKED to find out there have been more than 4 kids during the last two years that went on to play ball in college at any level.( MC will have 12-15 in the 2020 class) Probably not the HC's fault and certainly not the parents or players...........some schools just dont put any emphasis on football or getting kids to the next level. That is just a fact.

I dont know CJ's dad and have only met CJ once but I will tell ya what I know to be 100% true. He is 6'3 about 210 with long arms and a crazy freakish athlete. If in the right program ( Not necessarily MC) 2 years ago where there is a culture of winning and a high level of commitment to strength and conditioning he would be looking at dozens of college offers including places like Gainesville and Tallahassee. He is the type of kid that even on a field with a dozen D1 kids he draws your eyes immediately.

I have no clue why the family choose to move and frankly its none of my business or anyone else's. I know that because of the move he is drawing some attention and with a solid year on the field this kid will have an unreal upside.

I read on here all the time that if your good enough they will find you. ********.....kids slip through all the time. The culture and program do matter.

Maybe he is a look like Tarzan play like Jane or they were so bad he just didn't jump out. I have seen Lumberton a lot over the last 10 years and I don't recall but a handful of players that were even D1 caliber and that was North, Hutch Erickson (went to South Carolina) and the qb who I think is at App State. So maybe he was just over shadowed by the horrendous play on the field.

The kids is FBS all day and a baller. Very few players are walking around @ 6'3" 215lbs 38 inch vertical, fast with a power forward wingspan, who can play LB, WR, Safety and DE on the high school level. He'll most likely play LB in college. If he had attended MC the last 3 years. He would have been another Trent Simpson. He's already picking up offers. I've had numerous coaches ask me, where did he come from? So you're in good company. Nobody knew about him. His Dad will be attending Stadiums on Saturdays with a 40k plus attendance. Full Scholarship. That's a fact! I don't believe this happens at Lumberton.

Now y’all know both Wake Forest and Myers Park should be ahead of Mallard Creek in this here preseason poll. Mallard Creek has had plenty of time to lift all those weights and flex since their early playoff exit season. Kid is the real deal no doubt when it comes to athleticism. I wish him and his family the best and he surely helps any team . I know he has an offer from Liberty according to sources but I can’t wait to see the Creek and Fork go head to head. A ton of athletes on the field. Roll the dice on the top 8 week 1 and see who stands after 15

I had this same conversation a couple of weeks ago. Wake is 3 time state champions Creek got bounced in their first playoff game last year. No team in NC should be ranked ahead of them in any poll in my honest opinion.

It doesn’t matter what WF did last year. This is a new season.

Clemson is #1 because they return what would have been the #1 draft pick in this NFL Draft if he was allowed to come out along with one of the best RBs in the country and the deepest group of talent in the country.

All polls are Ludacris. There has never been a perfect poll ever. So why are you shocked and when did DF become beat up? This is probably one of the most loaded teams he's coached.

Based on the way you believe polls work, you would be correct. But that's now how they work . Your Clemson analogy is just horrible, and winning last year, has little to nothing to do with how they're ranked this year. They have 10 players that will most likely be selected in the 2020 draft.

You would be better off saying. Could someone please tell me how polls work, because I have no clue who has what coming back. So I'll just take the easy route and pick the team who won last year. It work the year before...lol Put Mallard Creek at #8 and call it day. It's football season and who cares?

Tommy has been reloading the last 3 years. They still have a dangerous rb. Some believe he was better or good as Hoff. I saw 2 of the new wr's @ camp.(Studs) Along with Jaylin Hyatt, one of the Front runners for Mr. Football of SC, there will not be a drop off. No beat up team at DF.

In the West it’s going to come down to those 4 teams I think unless Richmond goes East because the East will be weak again this year other than WFR. I think the Creek strength of schedule early will help them late in the playoffs; A team with a athletic defense will beat Myers Park with a solid run game to keep the Alabama recruit off the field. It’s football time boys, I missed last year residing in Hampton Va. let the chatter and games begin Dutch Fork vs. Da Creek I can’t wait!

If we had AB coming back there is no doubt I would see us as no 1. Losing a whole coaching staff hurts. We have some players but I'm interested to see how they react. Were definitely top 5 talent wise....let's see how its put together.

Who's on Myers Park defense that makes them so athletic, and who's on their O Line that gives them such a solid run game? They ran the ball 3 times the entire 2nd half against Vance for 6 yards. What run game? And that schedule? How will they know?

I respect them. But if you want to know the reason why people don't really give them the respect they deserve it's because of their schedule. People feel as if they have one tough game a year and that's the championship game.

Agree 100%. They have beaten the best the West has to offer. I have no idea if that will happen this year but for now....they have the belt.

I keep hearing that this Leesville team is going to be the surprise team in the east. Not sure what that means but eventually WF will loose when it matters. Indy, Butler, MC and all the other great programs always hit some slippage. It's the odds, other teams get better and realignment of school districts is always a killer in big met areas like Mecklenburg & Wake County!

Wake is for real not sure about the strength of the 4AA east at the state title level. Three two TD type regular season games last season fir Wake shows things are evening out a bit but they also crushed Leesville Road in the rematch. Teams on the schedule every year will start programming to beat the champ and someone will finally get over the hump.

Bith things can be true but when you are the champ that is all that is what people remember. Natty Champs or in this case State Champs.

Bama rolled everyone in the SEC. Couldnt compete with that Clemson team.
