I know u judge year by year but any poll that doesn’t have WF NUMBER 1 in 4a is just wrong. It was the same last year and I posted this same reply., and what happened .
1. Wake Forest
2. Vance
3. Myers Park
4. Hough
5. East Forsyth
6. Mallard Creek
7. Richmond
8. Butler
How is that?
Personally I would have ranked Myers Park #1 but I have never really understood why how you finished last year would make you pre-season #1 this year. Different players, different coaches.........Why wouldnt you rank them based on what you think they will do this year?
I gotta agree with you on this one Viper, Catholic should be higher than Weddington.
Did you pick WF last year because of their previous success, or did you have an inside scoop? What's the process you would take in making a poll?
I had this same conversation a couple of weeks ago. Wake is 3 time state champions Creek got bounced in their first playoff game last year. No team in NC should be ranked ahead of them in any poll in my honest opinion.
Probably not because these folks that does these polls have no common since. But what's your point? We talking about wake who hasn't lost in 3 years and a team that didn't win a playoff game. No team should be ranked ahead of them in the state of NC
They actually had a bye week because of their record and actually beat Vance who played in the State Championship game. But does it really matter? Who cares about a damn poll? It's Football season. Let's Go!

My point is what happened last year has zero bearing on this year. Richmond hasnt beaten a Meck county team in the playoffs in 9 years. Based on your criteria they should be ranked below Hough and Butler?
Wrong we beat butler last year. Did butler or Hough win more games or go deeper in the playoffs? If so the yes they should be ahead of us. It don't matter the games or won on the field not on polls or message boards. Good luck this season hopefully you get that playoff win this year.

The ONLY REASON I TAKE SHOTS is anytime anyone says someone might be better than Creek the two Creek posters have something to say. If RAIDERS play Creek. Creek probably wins. You saw it for yourself, or you believe it sounds cool, to just make it up? Actually the last few years Mallard Creek had about 35 kids try out for JV. I believe you guys double those numbers. A couple of Hundred? Holy ****! Mallard Creek is not even close to those numbers. You guys have got to stop believing the gossip and just ask. Good luck to you also.

9 are coming back on Vance defense that shut out Myers Park the entire 2nd half. MP lost coaches and 8 starting lineman and half of their defense. Did something happen at Myers Park i'm missing?
Without a doubt 2-4 is a toss up not questioning that. Vance undoubtedly has a very high chance at winning it all this year with that defense.

Yep! He's a stud. Actually Marquez North was born in Charlotte. He only lived in Lumberton for 2 years. He returned to the same area he left. Which was the MC district.

B&G is just a long time fan of Mallard Creek Football and a big time Notre Dame fan. My son played for MC and played for the Citadel and graduated in 2017. 704CougarsDad son played for Vance and currently plays for Oklahoma. If you wanted to know, just ask?

Well since MC is in Charlotte wouldn't it be normal for them to be there because i'm sure they had players there. You really need more or just leave this alone for everyone's sake.
I have met numerous guys on this board in person. He's the only guy I wanted to slap the taste out of his mouth when I 1st met him. He's even more annoying in person. I only wish one of the people inside of him, would jump off a bridge. The guy is a pure lunatic, who should be on a watch list. CJ's Dad is financially secure and does not need a Billionaire to pay $60.00 to send his son to a football camp in Charlotte. College Scouts are not aloud to attend camps at High Schools, Unless it's a satellite camp. High School coaches cannot work College camps any longer per NCAA rules. What's sad, is having to engage in foolishness from this idiot, from him bad mouthing a program. We put in work like every program in the State of NC. Unfortunately we lose a few good players and we get a few. It's that simple

I would say that for any school. When the kid from westover came to Scotland i said the same thing but i stated that you should have your facts. Here is what I will say. Lumberton hasnt won more than 5 games since 2011. They have combined to win 4 games in 2 years and while I dont know the exact # I would be SHOCKED to find out there have been more than 4 kids during the last two years that went on to play ball in college at any level.( MC will have 12-15 in the 2020 class) Probably not the HC's fault and certainly not the parents or players...........some schools just dont put any emphasis on football or getting kids to the next level. That is just a fact.
I dont know CJ's dad and have only met CJ once but I will tell ya what I know to be 100% true. He is 6'3 about 210 with long arms and a crazy freakish athlete. If in the right program ( Not necessarily MC) 2 years ago where there is a culture of winning and a high level of commitment to strength and conditioning he would be looking at dozens of college offers including places like Gainesville and Tallahassee. He is the type of kid that even on a field with a dozen D1 kids he draws your eyes immediately.
I have no clue why the family choose to move and frankly its none of my business or anyone else's. I know that because of the move he is drawing some attention and with a solid year on the field this kid will have an unreal upside.
I read on here all the time that if your good enough they will find you. ********.....kids slip through all the time. The culture and program do matter.
