An interesting fact about Snell:

lets not overlook that o-line. they are making holes and pushing guys back. eddie gran is incredible.

They knew what they had, but a) they had Barker then & planned to pass more/have a more open O, and b) he was new in the program & imo they just wanted to give him a little more time to learn.
Does show Gran's adaptability to circumstances change, doesn't it?
He is also the kind of back defenses dread going into a game.
Great point - Gran has shown the ability to work with what he has instead of forcing the wrong players into a specific system - which is how I felt about the offense last year and the defense at the begining of this year.
and i think thats so important at a school like ours. we cant just pick and choose what type of talent we get. i am very happy with the offense right now.
