One of the better gates in Onslow County. Both teams coming off a real good year. Jacksonville going to the 3A Championship game in 2018. For the second year in a row SWO made the 2A Eastern Title game. The Cards have had the Stallions number the last few years. Probably a sure bet by many for SWO to once again drop their opening game of the year. Maybe -- Maybe Not this year ..... :rolleyes:

Down year for those stallions? Well,I think their conference saves them this year.They'll go 0-2 in first 2.

Don't know about a "Down Year". We've had, what 1 in the last 30 or so. We lost 2 of the four pre-season games last year and did pretty good I think. We did lose quite a lot from last year but who dosnt. What you lost is no indication of what you got this time around.

Nah sea dog...I see a spirited bunch at SWO who will compete. I never predict scores nor d o I ever say the Cards will win. Trust and believe this bunch will get off the bus and are eager to show everyone that they are just as talented as last years squad. They just had to wait their turn.

We might take a lickin, but we keep on ticken. Probably the best team we will play before the playoffs. A win would be great but not required to win the 2A title, been there, done that.

There’s no way swo Beat wrh this year!! Dogs 79 ,cards 28-10 , Jville And wrh will be the best two teams swo will play this year!!

I've been saying since last year that NS was young and would be the team to contend for the conf this year... But I get killed saying that bcuz they got beat last yr lol. They are gonna be tough this year!!!

Not too long ago North side was a perennial power in the 2A east. What have they been too, like five Eastern championships and the school hasn't been open even 20 years? Hell, they were in the state Championship just a couple of years ago. I for one am certainly not doubting them.

What have you seen in scrimmages? What did you see against New Hanover? Please tell us what you saw against CB Aycock. Do the Cards have allot of work to do? Yes they do. If you did not see a solid football team in each of those scrimmages then please go get those eyes checked I will gladly pay for your exam.

From the predictions on here I guess if we can hold the cards to 40-50 pts. would be an accomplishment. Maybe we can score a few in 3-4th qtr on all that depth and talent. Probably no one will show up in the stands. They will go watch WRH or Clinton for a preview of surely the Eastern Rep in the State Title Game. Oh well, maybe we can luck out and get ONE playoff game in anyway. Who wants SWO in the first or second round in Nov. ??

This battle of sarcasm is awesome. Both teams will win their conferences and be practicing on Thanksgiving. That being said....

I'm a little reluctant to give out any trophys this early. The 7 pts. you predict for the Stallions is maybe to high. Havnt heard anything about our kicking game. So could be no Extra Point, But hay....can always go fo 2 ... o_O

SWO wi show up and play hard. But the Cards will also show up and play hard. I don’t do scores or predictions. I hope for a injury free game on both sides. The best team that shows up tomorrow night will win.

NS will be tough. However still think one year away from being what some seem to think they will be this year. But we will find out soon enough.

Like all things in the Universe, Not a matter of If ....just When. Could very well be their year. BUTTTTTTT ... Thats been the word around Richlands before. What will it be this year ??? Flash back to great games with names like:

The Catch
The Terrible Towels
The Out of Bounds Run
and last but not least .... "The Great Halloween Massacre"

So many times victory has been snatched from the Wildcats. This year SWO/Richlands will be the last game of regular season. Once again the Ichabod Cranes of "The Lands" will ride into Sleepy Hollow to meet the dreaded "PUNKIN HEADS"

It's game day. Weather for tonight looks good. Around 90 at kickoff and 10-20% chance of rain ,, partly cloudy. Gonna be hot and muggy so conditioning will play a big role in the outcome. I know both teams will be ready and Bring IT. Lot of things goin on for SWO yesterday and today. Services for Dlee at the school yesterday and burial today at 1400. Play with dedication and Stallion resolve.

ITS just word on street, Cats have decent year but not beating SWO they were running their mouths how they were going to beat up on JHS in the scrimmage.

Looked better than thought atNH but took a step back some with Aycock potential is there but the Cards need to stop resting on laurels.

Broadcast is live ... Stallion football is Live and in Living Color (Black and Orange Only)

I missed the pre game show. Had to change laptops to get the new broadcast to come in.
