Dalvin has 60 more carries than Snell.

D Cook. 178 carries, 1069 yards and 11 TD, 6/ypc

B. Snell - 118 carries, 661 yards, 8 TDs,
5.6/ypc

B. Williams - 108 carries, 821 yards, 3 TDs,
7.5/ypc

It should be noted that Benny's stats are through the last 6 games. He did not get a carry in either of the first two games. If you give Snell 60 more carries at his 5.6/ypc he would have 997 yards - 72 yards shy of Cook. Who knows how many more TDs Snell would have with 60 more carries. (He scores a TD every 14.75 carries).

I don't think UL has seen a 1-2 punch like these two RBs for UK. I hope that UL football team takes them as lightly as UL fans are.

Dalvin Cook is a Top 15 NFL Draft Pick this coming April....had 169 yards at Clemson...so you're saying Snell or Williams going to be a 1st Round RB. This is with FSU also having the passing threat posed by Francois.

Let me put it to you like this...Louisville was the only one this year to shut him down...not really that concerned especially with the lack of passing threat posed by the Wildcats.

No one is saying here that UK is going to beat UL.

I will say however, if UK plays a ball control game like Duke did (keeping Jackson off the field), anything can happen.

I didn't think you was...just pushing back on the RB we faced this year in Cook and Gallman at Clemson. Not so much taking away from Williams and Snell

Yeah - I was responding to the poster (UK fan I think) who was said UK wasn't going to beat UL - so I responded to that person. All good man. Good convos today.

UL has a great team this year, UK is getting better. UL should win, but with rivalry games it can always get interesting.

RBs are hardly ever taken in the 1st round anymore. Williams is listed as a top 15 RB for 2018 draft. Snell is still an unknown to America - Cook is a junior. I encourage you to watch UK this Saturday so you can see Snell for your own eyes.

Stats are stats. You saw the comparisons. There's not much difference on paper.

Snell is a player...like him much more than Williams. And what I am seeing from Kentucky is greater confidence and expect them to be a tough out the rest of the year for everyone including Louisville.

Most of your team is coming back in 2017...if you close out like I think you will expect big things next year. And yes would not be surprised if UK finishes 3-1 for a 8-4 record.

At this point, my prediction for rest of season is 8-4 with a loss to UL. I will probably be wrong on the 8-4 but I'm hoping we can get there, no doubt. That would mean we'd have done what we needed to to be the SECE champs - just hope UF loses 2 to make it happen.

Next year should be pretty awesome if all goes well.

After watching FSU play a few games I can say Kentuckys offensive line > Dalvin Cooks

The FSU line is going to get Francois killed....took a beating against Clemson. But that also shows how good Dalvin Cook is and will be at the next level.

Guessing 2-2 with wins against UGA and AP.

Here's a question:
If we go 1-3 winning only against AP, but being competitive with UGA and UT...then only to be blown out by UL. What will be the perception of Stoops and this team?

Let's see what that 1-2 punch UK has does against Georgia who is 18th in Total Defense. So far this year UK hasn't been able to break a 100 yards rushing against a top 10 defense. Florida who rushed for 241 yards vs UK was only able to manage 100 yards vs Georgia. UK hasn't played a team with a defense in the Top 60 since playing Bama.

Not trying to jinx UK but I actually like them to win outright this week. Georgia right now isn't very good...they should have lost to Missouri and team Kentucky cruised by...

Actually, the more accurate stat is rushing defense, not total defense. UGA is #9 in rushing defense (although they haven't played many teams with a very good rushing game). I agree, let's see what UK does against UGA's run defense. It's all about our OLine's physicality and we manhandled Miss St's DLine - the biggest in the SEC. I expect UK to run for 175-225 yards against UGA.

Also, UK is a very different team now than they were in week 2 against Florida. Not sure if you saw that game - our guys quit in the first quarter.

Like I said earlier - I sure hope UL football team takes UK as lightly as their fans are taking UK.

Run Defense Rankings:
1. Alabama
6. Florida
9. UGA
14. UL
49. Miss St
55. Vandy
66. Southern Miss (with their schedule)
86. South Carolina
95. Tennessee (salivating at this matchup)

Austin P is for sure a win.

UGA is winnable but not a given.

Tennessee is going down in a ball of fire. Sounds like they have a lot of disgruntle players including Hurd. It will be a tough game no matter what. Much like the time we won with Roark, we may need someone other than a QB to win the game.

UL will roll us. They aren't as powerful as they where in the beginning of the season but still are very good.

The thing I worry about in all these games are turn overs and horrible punting. I can imagine a few fumbles and interceptions that will cost us the game. Our punter is averaging just over 30 yards per kick. That is horrible!!! Its hard to imagine that we cant get someone who can punt the ball farther to give our defense at least a shot to keep their offense from scoring range.

What's your prediction for these final four? Here's mine.

UGA -- W
AP-- W
UT-- W
UL- L

I think UT game is a toss up right now, but if we win our next 2, I think we go into Knoxville with just enough MOJO to pull it off.
I'd take it

We've got a reasonable chance to win any of the four individually , reasonably I want two more wins . I'm not going to speculate but I'm allowing myself to hope for a division title but not setting my expectations there either . If you don't hope for a title then you're wasting precious opportunities as a UK fan , just don't turn on the team if it doesn't happen .
