What a catch by Ortegon. And a great run by Flowers.
Well this was the only game today that was supposed to be interesting and it is. Plus we got the 3A game. So we should all rejoice.

I’d be more on board with them winning 4A or maybe even 3A if they didn’t have multiple 5A titles and also a 6A one.
But this is a really great team. Fun to watch and very talented.

Solid game. Montini was the better team, Rochester made a good run with the back to back INTs and the non-called fumble would’ve been big. Rockets had a likely fumble not called against them in the 1st half as well so I guess it evens out. Credit to the Broncos defense stiffening in the red zone (twice I believe).

Abrams has a cannon and his WRs go get it. Lots of big time throws - hit a 2 shot on a line on a big 3rd and long early. Talent for days. His refusal to go thru the handshake line and the waving and running by the Rochester fans after the game can be chalked up to youth I suppose. Overall was impressed. Congrats to the Broncos on a well earned title, and to the Rockets for another great season.

Thats fair.
Although I wouldn’t be surprised if their enrollment started to creep up towards the number from 10 years ago.
It really seems like they are on the way back to being a “major” player again. Weren’t they in the Blue for a couple years?

All.... I'm sure this has been talked about in another subject thread. In 2026 will the CCL shift teams around in other divisions? If so with the year Montini had where might they possibly land?

One more for the Bronco folk. SHG enrollment is up I can see them in class 5A for 2026. Are numbers trending up at Montini? With 7 on offense and 5 on the d coming back with the championship team they would be the favorite in class 4A . Ratsy

They do it every 2 years and yes, 2026 will have new divisions.

Pretty sure their enrollment is still flat or even down. They’ve been one of the smallest in the CCL for years.
