Not really much to say about this one honestly. Umm....3rd straight road game? Conference opener? I'm trying lol. But with the Eastern Plains Conference games starting, the competition gets considerably easier. It's not a very good group right now. So unless SWE decides not to get off the bus, it should be a 40-50 point game, unless coach lets the reserves play the second half. Even then, SWE most likely has the advantage. Probably won't update this one in-game.

North Pitt has no chance, but I will say this about the program, coach Watford has really done a great job this year in trying to turn this program around. When I saw them earlier this season at home against SC there was a decent home crowd, they actually had good participation in the marching band, and coach Watford seemed to have the right message for his team even when things didn't go their way, "JUST KEEP PLAYING", he said. The only way for them to go is up and coach Watford will have this team contending soon in my opinion. I'm certain of one thing, they wont finish last in the Eastern plains.
Oh for sure, I agree. They are playing much better under this coach. I do believe they will defeat Farmville and North Johnston. And if they pull out the victory vs Nash Central, that'll be 4 wins and 3rd place in the EPC. MIGHT be good enough for a 15 or 16 playoff seed. Some of my family lives in Bethel, so I root for NP.
I would love to see that. Its was amazing for me to witness the pride I saw from that program after all they have been through for several years. They sure do have more pride than Farmville and North Johnston right now and I agree they have a great chance to beat them and get a playoff berth! That would be a great story.

After good defense, SWE gets the ball back, but fumbles near midfield. 2 plays later, NP fumbles it right back at the SWE 40. SWE drives and scores on a 3 yard reception to Porter. I'm on the home sideline, on the goal line, and the pass came to this side. Honestly, the ball hit the ground, but the receiver's back was to the ref. The ref didn't see it... touchdown. Blocked XP, 20-0...

NP's drive is intercepted at midfield. SWE finishes with a 21 yard fg. 37-0.
NP gets a big 33 yard run on their next drive, and plenty of SWE penalties. A 1yd td run cuts the lead to 37-6.
