I'll say C. The first two games were so bad that they drag the grade down, but finding ways to win with a lightly recruited, inexperienced and banged up back up quarterback helps the grade (You think USC Jr and both Vanderbilt fans aren't as disheartened by that as we are by USM and Florida?).
By just about any metric, we are, historically, the worst or second worst program in the SEC conference. Grades have to reflect the status of the program. For us, progress has to start somewhere. Consistently beating the worst teams in the league would be a good place to start (with designs on continuing to climb the SEC ladder). Cats have a chance to end the season 7-2 versus the other three lesser east teams over the last 3 years. Time to start closing the gap on the MSU, Georgia and Tennessee.
