We know you aren’t...and regardless what some people get up here and say...they definitely take nhs seriously! NE ain’t gonna give it to nobody and they don’t expect anyone to give it to them either.
Great posts, I couldn't agree more. The Clintons,WRH,NE,and many other smaller schools don't have to lose. I can't speak for WRH or Clinton but I know NHS has numerous players who will be playing at D1 schools and one particular player who is one of the best in the state. 2a east is loaded and whichever team wins it will have earned it.
Yes SWO was and they would've beat NHS had they played.
Goob are you serious?? I don’t agree! Wrh beat swo 49-7 in the eastern finals! Swo would not have beat nhs last year! I clearly remember coach saying if we beat wrh we would be going to the state championship! Also many wrh posters up here said that NE was the only competition wrh had during playoffs last year.
Are you kidding me , heck yeah that was a joke. WRH shouldn't have won against us but they caught us on an off day, kinda like SWO caught WRH on an off day earlier this season. Those things happen and we can't change the past, but we can control our future. We would've beat SWO by 8 tds plus, they were terrible last year. We will exact revenge this year, nothing will stop us. Bring on the "SMASH MOUTH" football played down south. We will show you how we do it up here in the north east corner. Look forward to seeing the teams from down south. Going to be a hell of a finish

My Eagles are up 14-0 but it's not pretty. Something just doesn't feel right tonight. I noticed it early on when our team walked with the flag making their entrance. Only a small portion of our band is here and we have no announcer. Not sure what's going on but we would be losing if we were playing WRH right now. Mojo just isn't right, hopefully the kids come out to play in the 2nd half against a bad Beddingfield team. Also on our kickoffs, coach has elected to give the ball to Beddingfield at the 45 yard line every time instead of kicking deep. I guess he has his reasons because I'm sure not a coach. This 9-2 Beddingfield team is the equivalent of Hertford County in our conference. Let's go Eagles

I was quite disappointed. From my eyes tonight, our guys just didn't look as dominating. They seemed kind of flat I'm the first half, second half was a lot better. That was one hell of an interception we got. The kid caught it with one hand!!! It was a sport center top 10 nomimee. I wish I had been recording, I know it would've made it.
Kinston won against Clinton? I haven't checked any scores yet. Everyone but myself predicted Clinton. I picked Kinston on that thread
Yes, Clinton lost 21-13. Clinton had the ball on the Viking 1 yard line but a false start pushed them back. Tried a trick pass play which fell incomplete. Story of this game was Clinton shot themselves in the foot one too many times with numerous false start penalties a key times tonight.
That sucks cause I really enjoy talking with your posters up here. I have a question though, was Kinston better than what yall thought or did you guys have a bad night. What should we expect because I know no one give them a chance even though they are undefeated
Lol right. Mr. Thomas wasn’t there I think maybe he’s out of town or something. Athletic director was up there but he’s as dry as the Sahara so you wouldn’t want him announcing lol.
Just wasn't that great of an atmosphere tonight. I hope that doesn't happen again or I'll have to go up there and call the game and be the Dj during breaks. I'll have the whole stadium rocking if they put me behind the mic
It was a little breezy out there tonight. Guys just started slow. But we have 2 teams in our conference in the third round.
Glad you came and supported us. Next Friday I'm skipping our game and going to the Corral to see WRH and SWO. I will be rocking my Northeastern attire. I might as well get things ratcheted up lol
We can't give up that field position to any of these teams left or I'm afraid it's going to burn us. Kinston is flying under the radar and gets even less respect than we do. They are also undefeated.
I know we're going to beat Kinston and I want to scout WRH and SWO. I'm going to represent my Eagles hard down there. Everyone will know, believe me.
The only thing I can think of is since the faster people are in the back that’s a strategy to keep the better runners from getting the ball and gaining more yards. It worked tonight because our defense was all over them and they couldn’t gain any yards but may not work for other teams.
Yes that’s very good that HC is still playing too. Good luck to them as well. Yes we started slow but definitely got it together.
