A Field Of Dreams To Be Proud Of ! ! !

I have not seen Mount Airy’s football field since they put up the new scoreboard. It is huge, at least 35’ to 40’ tall and 25 to 30’ wide or that is what it looks standing under it. The field was so green and everything was beautiful. If you have never been there, the huge black area is a TV monitor. I would love to be at a football game when the TV monitor was on and they had it doing its thing. That field is something the whole community can be proud of.

I just looked back and the last game I was at was in 2013, I went to Mount Airy vs Bishop & Atkins the following week both @ MA and shot pictures and posted a few on here. Mount Airy beat Atkins 63-0 and Bishop 42-7. I just remembered the two games were blow outs. Always been setting behind this computer posting scores as I got them.

FNL, as you know I have been to more football fields than I can remember. You are correct, the video board and scoreboard is probably the nicest I have seen at HS level. I will also says as I have been there for games since it was installed and the people operating it does a first class job also.

Redbird u act like ma never beat es what a freaking joke. U take Gosnell and Boaz of that team last year and wonder how good y'all would been. Bears.were without their 2 studs but keep thumping your chest.

Your two studs were there during regular season and stole a win thanks to a return off of a skipped pass that wasn't called ,and I believe one of those studs was shiutdown down by gosnell ,mr Greene I believe and if u want to sit here and tell that bs go ahead,lol ma was overrated last year and will be this year ,only great team I've seen outta there was 2008 and I've defended and said to this day that team would hand Tarboro their *** ,so I'll admit when u gotta team ,kids from east don't need any respect from ma posters on here ,they'll show it on the field .

Boaz and gosnell are great players,but trust I've watched this team practice and scrimmage and there are 3 more players on that team that are lightning ,people will be tossing those names around soon ,last year Boaz and gosnell out ,trouble they would have ,this season deep ,they are deep,guess rumors will fly about these being transfers when u see these other kids play .
