None of these, but all good guesses. I think Seinfeld is third. Here's a hint. It's an 80's sitcom that had a very successful spinoff sitcom in the 90's.

When you say network do you mean CBS,ABC and NBC or are there any other networks that you are including? OFC
Those three major networks are the ones that aired broadcast television mainly when this occurred and it was on one of those networks.

That's the only live show I could think of during the 80's that wasn't the evening news.
She never won one, although she was awarded a juvenile one in 1940. One of the greatest injustices in Academy history.

Sadly, no. Oddly enough Williams has only won 5 Oscars. 52 nominations and 5 wins. It's crazy. Hint: this person has passed away and it was a long time ago.
She was nominated 10 times and only won the first Oscar she was ever nominated for. It's kind of crazy who has the most all time btw. I didn't know it until a few years back. Here's another hint: this person is not an actor or actress.
