That's bravery right there. Puts calling someone "brave" for dressing like a woman into perspective.

Agreed, I imagine it's quite difficult for him to sneak across Isil lines, while those giant brass balls on him clank together.

And yes Caitlyn, Christine Jorgenson and Dr. Rene Richards did it all some 65 and 40 yrs ahead of you respectively. Whatever makes him happy and as Tommy Jefferson put it: "neither breaks my arm, nor picks my pocket" is fine by me, but I agree that the "hero" or "brave" tag isn't really applicable, especially compared to true acts of heroism and bravery like on display here.
