Even though we lost to Thomasville we can still win the Stanly Cup, especially with our defense being so strong and North Stanly being down. First stop is West. They seem to be going downhill. Can we pull it off? I think this is a possibility of a win. Thoughts and predictions?

Our defense is strong but offensively we have to turning over the ball and trust the power. We had 3 good drives in the first half and 2 in the second half all ended in turn overs. The only score thomasville had was after our defense stopped them and then our O didn't move the ball and gave it back on the two then we had a penalty which took them to the one. The qb proved in the scrimmage he can take care of the call and not turn it over but just need to get away from the madden stuff and start playing Albemarle football.
Just my 2 cents if we come out and play football I think we beat WS.
I think West is in the worst place of any team in the county. They should win being 2a but I think we win by 2 scores. If we don't beat them I will be disappointed.
Albemarle needs to build some confidence against West Stanly. Learning how to execute on offense and avoiding turnovers and costly penalties now will help Albemarle in conference play. Albemarle should win but it might not be an easy win.
You said a mouthful there and your right...Albemarle game plan was: Run the ball on the opposing 50 yard mark, and then get pretty on their half of the field...I was irate. And what’s up with the deep routes...I thought Mike Shula was out there calling the plays...
May the best team win is all I can say lol...

Actually both of our RB's had really good game. We have a really good back on JV as well. To be honest the QB that played in the jamboree is a good QB that was his first game starting and I think he will be better moving forward.
Albemarle biggest problem is depth..We have a good starting 11 but 2 starters with be out tonight....

No excuses tonight guys played hard a lot of mistakes down the stretch hats off to west boys for not quitting. They made the plays to win and capitalized off mistakes. One thing everyone there seen tonight enjoy this one because it's very apparent the Bulldogs are coming back up and will be your last one for awhile.
But to The Bulldogs proud of you all down two starters tonight had another couple get hurt and they battled hard. Wish a few calls or missed ones would have went differently but trust the process and work hard.

And in no way should anybody take anything away from west in this game. Their boys continued to fight and made some big plays off of our mistakes. Again my hats off to them.
