Great Freshman season at Bama hopefully, he can get back to that. Fight On!
The transfers are coming so fast. Riley is living up to his promise to re-make this roster.
Crazy. Hard to believe he was second in tackles his freshman year to only 9 tackles since then. Obviously has a ton of talent. He just added a notch the the defense

My Lord, things are happening so fast and furious, all I can say is:
Love the fact we're picking up tough, athletic LBs from the SEC in Lee and Height!! 
Front 7 on D have to get much, much better for USC to contend for Natties in several years. We're not yet anywhere near that point in 2008 when Rey Rey, Cushing, Clay and Kaluka were pounding anything that got past the LOS but we're on the right foot to get back there! LFR is working some gen-yoo-ine magic in the TP!!

That's the problem in Alabama. You get hurt and another guy comes in and will take your place. They sign 3 to 4 5* LB every year. I am just hoping that he is healthy enough to do the things he can do before. He is elite if healthy.

The injury in 2020 combined with Alabama bringing in To’oto’o set him back a spot. If To’oto’o doesn’t decide to stay at Alabama next season I’m not sure Lee hits the portal. A ton of upside the move to SC gives Lee the playing time opportunity to get back to the level he was playing as a freshman he needed. And fills a position SC really needed. Very impressed with Riley so far
Saw elsewhere he has two years. Either way, if he has a great season this year, no injuries, he will go to the NFL after this season. Hopefully he is not as goofy about stating that at the beginning of the year.

Which would lead me to also assume you are not willing (or ready) to give one of the 6-7 other ILBs that we have a shot?
I've certainly seen college players strike the Heisman pose--which 20+ years ago would have been considered overly cocky...

Yes transfers or 2022 class. we need depth in this position. Out of those 6-7 players only 1 has experience
For sure. I think it impacted his foot speed a bit. He'll do better with a different defense.
