Yeah this game will be the perfect excuse for Saban to really lay down the law and suspend him for one game.

It doesn't matter that he had a permit to carry and this all could've been avoided if he had just had it in his possession. 5 Game suspension or kick him off.

One of our insiders on the other site says he does. Regardless, he should probably be gone.

According to the "process" a TE from Mississippi State will be suspended for this.

The Fighting Updykes will get through this unscathed.

He won't be and you know it...more than likely he won't play against UK because quite frankly, you guys could play your second and third string and handedly beat us, but I can guarantee you he plays against the filthy orange...good luck against them

I said that he probably should, although I know that he won't. Anyone who doesn't believe that he probably should be booted off the team is clueless. I think everyone else would agree and feel the same way if this happened to a player on their team. This is barely below what Jones and Robinson did, IMO.

Saban will have him do 2-3 laps around field and all is well. Bama wants to win. Can't always do that with choir boys and punishing players for big hits nor expelling players who have no charges brought against them.

Im hearing on bham radio thst he said the store issued him a temp permit. I live in bama and dont think that is possible. Could be wrong as its been a year since ive bought one.

Maybe. i've never heard of a temporary carry permit.

I really can't say he should be kicked off, I don't know the circumstances, If he had it out in a threatening manner, sure he should be gone. But if it was stored somewhere he could have had it for traveling, I always have 1 or 2 with me when I am going to be on the road for a few hours. Nah, Cam and his friend were up to no good, that time of day, bag of pot, 2 guns with them, something illegal was about to take place or just did.

As for our odds of beating Bama, this doesn't help us at all. If this dude has to sit out a game or two, so what? They will just replace the kid with a dude that would most likely start here. The game will probably get ugly. I know their starting running back is unlikely to play, but i kind of wish he would play. He might feel like he had to show out against Kentucky and when a player does that, he sometimes makes mistakes that could cause his team wins.

Nothing to see here, same as U.K. basketball player being charged with same infraction

Is this any worse than our drunk basketball player, I mean both incidents are bad. Willis isn't going to miss any games, so cannot throw any stones id Bama guy doesn't miss any time.

I like how the pot in the car is being swept under the rug and the unregistered gun taking front and center. Nice of the passenger to fall on the sword and claim the pot was all his. IMO if the pot is found loose in the car you charge both with possession. If it's in somebodies pocket then maybe you take their word for it that it's theirs.
