Kentucky is edging toward a sellout for a key game against Georgia on Saturday night, with officials reporting that there are now 55,600 tickets out as of Wednesday afternoon.

That’s up 2,650 from Monday morning and plenty of walkup traffic is expected, said Guy Ramsey, UK’s director of strategic communications.

Our fan base, there’s been a lot of loyal fans to us,” Cats Coach Mark Stoops said on Monday. “We just need more. We need more people in there to fill it up. I’d love to see it filled.”

if they wait till next Sun the game will be over,i think its 7:30 on SEC Net
The SEC used their 6 day option.. Meaning they get 6 more days until they announce the game time. So, they will release the times THIS Sunday for next weeks games

They do the $25 promotion again I might come up. I don't do $60 tickets. Especially when you add at least $10 for parking, $10 for food, and $15 for gas to sit up in the top corner of the stadium. I'd rather stay home and watch it on the 55" TV from the comfort of my couch over spending nearly $100 for 1 person to go to the game. Whether or not the tickets are one of the cheapest in the SEC, they've still priced me out of going to games.

It's a personal decision for all of us. Thanks for sharing...

If you are already going, talk it up to those you know at work, school, church or elsewhere. Focus on those who have strayed the last 5 years. There is no excuse for anything less than a sellout, though I wonder how well UGA fans will travel this year.

I was hoping for a promo code for this one but after reading this I know that's not going to happen. We have 2 season tickets in section 7, but wanted to bring a crew to this one and needed 6 more tickets. I bit the bullet and just bought 6 in section 204, but they're only 6 rows up. This team has really turned things around and this game is turning out to be a HUGE opportunity for the UK program, so even though it eats into my play money, it was a no brainer to just go ahead and spend the $400 and get some decent seats.

6th row on 204 will be a great view!

Oh you better watch it. If you where a true fan you would purchase tickets at $1000 a pop if that was the asking price. :joy:

Shame that damn Barnhart reduced the stadium capacity. Just think we could have 7,000 empty seats instead of 2,000

The team deserves a sellout. I hope it happens.
Damn right they do. These guys have come back from adversity so many times before but none like what they faced at the beginning of this season. Alot of people wrote them off after going 0-2 and in hindsight I think that gave them the chip on their shoulder to get better and show some of our "fans" that they were improving. Also have to thank Lee Corso and the assclown from CBS for their contribution to the cause. They both owe these guys an apology.
