I agree 100%. I love my Wildcats and support them with all I have but I’ve said exactly what you said for many many years. I’ve watched years where we had competitive teams and told my friends we were playing not to get beat instead of playing to win especially against the top teams of the conference. I’ve seen games when it was late and we would start using the whole playbook and mix some timely passes and move the ball down the field. But you can’t win playing conservative and always on your heels. It’s ok to take a risk and blitz the corners. You don’t have to throw deep down the field every pass, the screen pass still works ! Mix it up and always have a new wrinkle to throw at them. This has been going on for years and yearsSomeone give a little info on Stokes ? What to expect. ? Andrews needs to try to win every play . They have the personal to be very competitive, they just need to learn to win. Big difference in playing to win and playing not to get beat and I think Andrews is a team that don’t know the difference. You know this is strictly my opinion and I welcome any and all comments. Wishing the cats nothing but the best ! Confidence is a precious commodity.
