New series on TNT and stars Ellen Barkin and Scott Speedman. About a family that specializes in crime and making money. Barkin rules the roost along with her 4 sons and a nephew that's new to the family. EB plays a ruthless matriarch and calls all the shots. Anyone seen it and what's your take?

I watch it. I like it. It's like Point Break on Nazi cook meth and the brown acid from Woodstock at the same time.

I'm not sure that they are all actually her biological sons. I get a creepy incesty vide in how she deals with them. I'm thinking this my be a Fagin/Artful Dodger style "mother/son" relationship. I dunno.

Ellen Barkin still looking good at 62. I never found her conventionally attractive, but have always found her to be sexy despite that screwed up Popeye looking face she gets when she smiles.

I agree. She's always had just enough white trash in her to let you know...

I haven't seen an episode, but the characters in the trailers are a little too spot-on for guys I knew in the oidfield to be enjoyable for me. I hope half of those guys I knew are dead or in solitary. The other half were some of the best people I ever met.
