Coaching???? Oline and OC were worse than questionable...and head coach....well, he's gonna be here as long as the AD, it looks like.

Coaching…

O-line, d-line, LBs, and RBs all definitely improved throughout the year. WR were decimated by one late transfer and one early injury. CBs may have improved somewhat, but I can’t be sure. It may be difficult to discern because they struggled so badly last year.

TEs took a step back, but it may have been that Malik didn’t target them.

Malik, for all of the things he was great at, still struggled to read the field and the option like you’d want a sixth year QB to be able to do. He may have just been already at his best.

Safeties? Let’s just say that the young talent looks promising.
