Saw that he was taken to a nearby hospital with movement in all extremities. Hopefully he's alright.
State fans behind us said their radio reported he had full movement and feeling.
On the replay, the OL goes forward on his block, he doesn't pop up and face his man or stand him up, he goes forward from his stance head and neck first into mid section of our lineman and goes limp at the block, pushed over backwards and motionless. Maybe a stinger, because he had numbness but movement.

Released from hospital, returning to Miss today.
Glad he can return home today. That looked scary when he was taken off on a stretcher. I hope he makes a full recovery.
He should make a full recovery. Awkward hit and an awkward fall gave him a nasty stinger which caused numbness. That had to be terrifying for the young man. Really happy to hear the good news this morning. Props to both teams' medical staffs for handling it properly and getting him taken care of.
Yep. Stingers were just no big deal back in the day. Shake it off and keep playing.

Definitely could of been worse than a stinger. Numbness can be anything from a fracture or herniated disk. Which is why the stretcher was called for. Situations like that are scary because the next big hit could be the last. Glad things were negative
I used to get stingers from shoulder hits and it would make my entire arm go numb. I didn't know you could get them where your entire body goes numb.
