I see tons of comments on facebook and even on here, people are "ok" because we covered the spread? Would you be ok with Basketball losing by 30 and covering the spread?

C'mon ... our football program has serious issues and it needs to be fixed, why is this ok? PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TREAT THE FOOTBALL PROGRAM LIKE THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM.

No. It was a total domination. We didn't play close in any regards. Bama could have easily covered the spread if they wanted to. The fact they didn't had more to do with what Bama did than what we did.

amazing.....the very same people who will trumpet Bama's superiority over any and all comers in the playoffs are bitching about US not keeping it close at their house!!

I think some fans here actually jerk off to us losing so they can thump their chests and criticize the team. (from safety, of course)

Like none of you folks would have used a lopsided score to beat Stoops over the head with.

The man can do no right with some.
Wrong. He can certainly do right by us. Get to a bowl game. We've even lowered the bar for him and he still didn't get it done. We lowered expectations even more and he's still not getting it done. I think the absolute opposite of what you say is true. For some he can't do any wrong.

I'm not a Stoops honk... I simply understand UK's reality as a FB program and am able to grasp the concept that recycling coaches in no more fruitful than sticking with the same guy who is building from scratch. Forgive me for my opinion.

We'll likely never know before you guys run him out of town with pitchforks and torches for losing to the #1 team in the country.

Naw losing to southern miss this year and candy and au last year with a shot at 6 wins will. Oh and never beating ul, it, fl, or uga.

Get mad, bro. Kick your dog and scream at your kids. It will make all the difference in the world. It'll make Mitch resign, the new AD will immediately fire Stoops w/o paying a buyout and then proceed to hire the second coming. It's a perfect plan.

Remember, the last ticket boycott brought Stoops here...

Played em good for one quarter with our fresh starters. When our guys got tired it was over quick.
All of the 127 teams in the country would lose in Tuscaloosa. Most by worse than we just did. Thats a fact.

I didnt say anything about kicking dogs abd throwing things. I said demand better!! Too many fans happy with niral victories and thats a loser mentality. If you wanna lose and think stoops is the man, Im truely sorry. You're wrong.

The boycott did bring stoops and thats on mitch. The boosters can pay the buyout and mitch can go with him. Then our new AD can hire a real coach.

But Im allowed to get mad. Im tired of being terrible. There wont be a change until enough people get mad and force a change with an empty stadium and public out cry. Id rather express my anger than sit there and take it like you. Im sure you got far in life sitting back and taking crap. We both know it doesnt work that way. So I dont know why a fan having the audacity to be mad offended you. I bet you have a trophy case of all your participation ribbons you won in life

I didn't expect to beat Bama. Hell, I didn't expect to stay within 2-3 touchdowns of them. I did expect us to score a touchdown. Is that such a high bar? We do play in the SEC. Should we not at least be competitive enough to score one touchdown?

Did someone really post that Alabama didn't want to score more points?

They scored 27 offensive points against us and they had to work for that. I'm confident that they would've scored more if possible.

At this point I take what I can take. I want Stoops out but UK didn't get embarrassed tonight like I thought they would.

A porous defense, a QB that cannot in any way or form stretch the field and they went on the road, didn't lay down and competed for the entire 4q.

smh.......get mad about losses to UL, Vandy, FL, or any of the other bad losses we've had in the last few years.....there's plenty to choose from.

But you look like idiots bitching that we didn't have a close game with ALABAMA

I think we held them to their lowest point output of the season as well. Minus the defensive touchdown, and the defense played a really good game. It's not all bad.

Silly take, really... as if we just lost 34-6 on the road to Mizzou or State. Feel free to throw it in my face if we do, but at that point I might share your anger.

I'm not angry at all. Just pointing out that after 4 years, we are still not competitive at all against good teams. Florida could have named the score and that game reminded me of Bill Curry blowouts. OK, I agree the Alabama game wasn't "bad as usual", but still, 34-6 and it wasn't that close. Heard our OC said the reason a RB didn't get many carries was we had too many 3 and outs...amazing. Have a great day.

Amazing? What is amazing about it? I think that statement can make sense, if you give Coach Gran credit for having a plan, and I do. I love Snell, but get the impression that his presence on the field still means a limited package. Fewer 3 and outs was, I think Coach Gran's way of saying we did not get into the red zone much, where we seem to have a play package in place to put the battering ram on the field. We need the whole book open between the 30's.

He's the coach. Personally, I didn't see a better option at RB than Snell, from goal line to goal line. the open book you're talking about looked like it would have fit Snell perfectly. It wasn't like they were asking the RB to do anything but run up the middle and try to find a hole. And for sure when he played, he found or made just as many holes as the other two. To me, that's amazing.
