Atkins vs. Morehead

Tell me your reason for that answer!!!! Atkins only won 1 game last year and that was against Carver!! They had them coming in this year at the bottom of the conference. That have one win already and in the early part of the season!! Morehead made playoffs last year and returned a lot of players from that team.
I agree with you @tarheel fan1!!! If Atkins wins tonight this really could push them to make a run this year!!! I’ve seen them play and they have some athletes out there this year.
Game went like I figured it would. Atkins always has speed but they can't seem to put it together. They have a hard time vs teams who like to pound it, which is Morehead in a nutshell. If they hadn't lost a few of their kids from the JV teams in '16 and '17 this coulda been a different game. They are better than last year though.
I think Atkins will beat Bishop next week and has a shot vs Carver, Central, and North Forsyth. They could maybe get a playoff spot if they do that. Not all is dire.
