BAKER AND MOSIER BACK

I expect a big weekend too. Unlike some fans on here I think the season isn't over. There is still time for improvement as we go into the next few games. If UK can pull off the win against Vandy and Miss State there is still reason to hope for a bowl game. IF we lose either one of those all hope is lost. Mizzu will be a major test. They lead us in most categories. One can only hope that the defense continues to get better and the addition of Mosier and Baker back will strengthen the OL and WR core.

If we beat Vandy and Miss St who knows what could happen. I'm not predicting any upsets but we will have a lot of momentum going into that Mizzou game and we have Georgia at home as well. Maybe slow start and a really strong finish unlike the strong starts and bad finishes of years past.

Its just my opinion but I think the turn around to this program has been to put an emphasis on the defense. Stoops is doing something right. It may have taken him 4 years but removing Elliot from the DC position has improved the team. All it takes is for both sides of the ball to finally click to get us where we need to be. The offense has the weapons and the defense is starting to play with heart.

Alabama players are real nice!

What about Southern Miss and New Mexico St?

What do they think about us?
And you think if we played them now we would lose? Or give up 42 so i guess we are lucky bama not on same level as the teams you mentioned. You chose to be negative no matter what i am still in wait and see but the defense has improved the last two weeks.

Well, South Carolina is terrible and Alabama just took advantage of their bye week...

We'll see going forward how much we've improved, but I'm not changing my mind based on the past two weeks.

I never asked you to. I dont think stoops could do enough to change your mind or a large portion of the posters on this board. I just hope if we finish well the fans support this young team.

I dont think usm would beat us. I actually think we would win comfortably. The defense had no identity yet. It dont matter though the next stretch of games will say alot about the Mark Stoops era.
Southern Miss beat us with a less talented roster and a head coach who was coaching his first game at the school.

They took our discarded OC, came into OUR stadium against our team with a coach who's had FOUR recruiting classes and more resources at his disposal and BEAT us!!

It doesn't matter whether they could do it again.

They did it WHEN IT COUNTED MOST!!!

Fans like myself LOVE the program and THAT'S why it is SO frustrating!!

It's freaking ridiculous to speculate on whether USM could do it again.

We'd have beaten Vandy last year if we'd played them again too, but guess what??

WHEN IT COUNTED, THEY BEAT US AND COST US A BOWL!!!

My swan song... Support the players even if you don't support the staff!!
I absolutely support the players!!

I hate it more than anything when people start saying things that cross the line about Matt Elam.

The players deserve to be coached up better than they have been though...

Practice is over but Stephen Johnson is throwing to Dorian Baker one-on-one. The two haven't had a chance to play with each other yet.

Gran says Dorian Baker has been great as he's back practicing. Hinted that he might be eased back after the hamstring injury.

K Time will be in here soon to tell us Baker was really shoved down the depth chart.

I think we would win last years Vandy game if we could play it again but we don't get to. Hopefully we can win this years Vandy game and next years S Miss game,, the ones that got away just got away, losses that can't be made up.

Well for one it has been only three classes because he came in late and did not have the time the first year but that does fit your agenda like you and all the rest who think a coach gets a year or replace him. Very stupid agenda.

"Coaching up". It's almost as nonsensical as "true fans". Just a catch phrase saying I've heard it and it sounds neat to parrot

At some point you go head to head with genetics. Guess who wins?

Wow!

You think I have an "agenda"?

My "agenda" is to have a football program that's not a national embarrassment and for us to seize to be the punchline of jokes from rival fans.

The real question is...

What's YOUR agenda!!!

Big blue, I agree! I still support the staff, but I think Coach Stoops should be out of here if we don't go bowling. This being his 4th year, and his recruits, his record needs to be better then the last two years. No more excuses.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

Baker brings more than just receptions and yards, he's physical and can lay the wood when blocking downfield. Could be a factor if boom and snell get into the secondary.
