I would be curious to learn how many teams have ever taken two trips like UofL basketball has in the same season. Good season to be on the team - free trip to Puerto Rico or wherever they went earlier and now a trip to the Bahamas.
Probably not too many teams but not positive. The early pre season exhibition games were also in the Bahamas.
We have done a few more pre-season tournaments as NCAA has allowed such. We did a Canadian late summer a few years ago.
Game 1 Wednesday against IU. How do you all feel about this matchup?

I agree with that. Win 2 games would be pretty good. 3 would be fantastic but 0 or 1 win and this team is looking at a long season ahead.
I'm at Atlantis for the Battle and they walked by me on the way to practice. We exchanged Ls and Go Cards. I plan to get some pics with them tomorrow.
I think 2-1 would be good but I'll hold judgement depending on how the games and who we have to play first. Lets say West virginia upsets Gonzaga and we play them in the 2nd game. Unlikely but a possibility. I would love to win the 1st game against IU.

The 8 teams in the Atlantis field are 30-4. 5 teams are undefeated, UofL and WVU have one loss each and Arizona has 2 losses (to Duke and Wisconsin).
I am expecting 1-2, so will be disappointed with 0-3, very happy with 2-1 or 3-0.

I'd be okay with winning only one if they show me improvement in some of the areas that need work.
These guys will have to be a better than average 3 point shooting team. We can start there. Help defense and crashing the defensive glass are the others.

Well they had us favored over Tennessee too. So there's that..man, I would have guessed line to be 7-9 points.

Not worried either way. Bad luck continues with 2 players that really matter being out. Johnson out forces Edwards into a ball handler and that isn’t good. It also hurts defensively.
I don’t have high expectations for the non conference the schedule is ridiculous for a new coach and new players. The ACC is down so they should do really well in ACC play. We shall see.

Late money pouring in on Indiana driving the line up; doesn't guarantee anything but not a good sign.
Chucky making a believer of me... Simply loved the energy on the floor from start to finish. That's got to be one of the highest assist games we have had in a while. Even with 2 guys out, we got a lot of depth. Go Cards!
S tier performance by the Cards. Hepburn defense is game changing. i think every team has had nearly 20 turnovers.
