after the inevitable beating in a week I hope people remember that we handled SCN better than Batavia. But in all likelihood we'll be dropped from the realm of the ranked.

CrossBones...you were the first non LWE poster I had ever met. How many years ago was the Helmetless Martin game now? Boy those were the games...and you were sitting on the LWE side talking daughter stuff...You going to this one?
That was a long time ago at the East/PC game. Couldn't think we'd sit on the Providence side... I kid. But she's driving now.
As for this game, I don't know if I'm going. Seeing the local kids get slaughtered is not the making of a good weekend. I was contemplating Montini/Rice as my buddy's son is a Bronco. Also, I only saw one DGS game this year and they're playing for a spot in the post season. I'll probably know by tomorrow afternoon.
stay healthy. prep for the playoffs without the bad tape for possible opponents. not a bad thought.
But in another thread you mentioned Pringle is getting a TD every 5 carries. Give him the ball 40 times and that's a lot of points!
All kidding aside, Pringle needs to get the ball often and oftener. If his stats are that good the kid is a play maker and he should get the football not just running the ball but also on some short passes. Seems like everyone has written off the Brook but I don't see this as a blowout game for LWE. The Brook didn't get to 7-1 for no reason.
There are years where we are the huge underdog and I'm like, "Nah, I'll take Raiders in this one." ('09 and '17 for example). This isn't one of those years. This year is more like '10 or '16 in my confidence level of taking the L.
What if Brook treated the game like a week 17 NFL throw-away game, played the starters 1 series, kept things vanilla and got healthy for playoffs and if met LWE in 8A ,maybe its at home.

I remember meeting you way back in 2005 on East visitors side. I believe you bought me a hot dog or maybe I bought you one? Can’t remember. I am getting old. The bottom line your a good dude and class act. I know I give you a lot of crap on Edgy but all with the deepest respect. I have said it many times and will say it again. Bolingbrook is a class program that plays hard nose football. I like the way your school goes about their business much like East. I would never count you guys out,

Congrats on the win fellas. It's going to take a helluva effort to knock you off. The 2nd half here is pretty much what I expected. Our kids played hard though.
Penalty free for the Raiders. I agree that your boys put up a great fight and just wore down. Griffins played with purpose the second half but must have been flagged at least ten times for a myriad of infractions. Still not at full speed but the playoffs are here. Good luck to Coach Ivlow and the Raiders.
dont know that ive ever seen a penalty free game from us, deserved or undeserved. Usually we get about 10 for stepping on the field.
