Take 45 all the way to Selmer Tn. Selmer is about 12 miles North of the state line.

Turn right on 64and go about 15 miles into Adamsville.

Take a left on 22 and go north until you get to I 40. It is about30-40 miles.

I believeit is 100 miles to Nashville from there.

It will take about 2.5 to three hours to get to I 40.

Many will tell you to go through Jackson TN but you also have to go all the way through Jackson and they do not have a real bypass. I 40 is at the very northern part of Jackson.

1) Slow
2) Deer all along the road.

I would take the 45 to I 40 route its by far the simplest and you can make good time
Alt go to T town then B'ham and 65 north. I hate this route

Another I've had luck w/is to go to Corinth and take 72 A to Huntsville and then 65

Works fine and easy to drive.

Stop in Tupelo for a diet Dr. Pepper is all I would add to their advice.

Don't take 45 all the way to Jackson, TN. I think you could also take 22 North to I40 if you wanted to simplify it a bit... correct me if I'm wrong.<div>
</div><div>But either way, don't go all the way to Jackson & don't take the Trace.</div>

i hate the drive all the way on 22 from adamsville to lexington to I40.

I always go 22 from adamsville and go east on highway 100 and take highway 69 north through parsons, tn to I-40. Probably just a personal preferance that has no effect on time, but i like that drive better

rock solid and a smooth ride. I hear to two who travel the route often are quite the hosts and accommodating.

but dont tell anyone.

Certainly there are a couple people left of the 6 billion on the face of the earth that dont know it.

If you get a chance, tell the other one.

Watch out in selmer, I got a speeding ticket in the mail going this way for the egg bowl. It was $50 and they also sent a link so I could watch myself speed through the intersection

Mine was a photo-enforced redlight infraction.

The best part being I wasin my wife's car, so theletter/ticket was in her name.

In fact, I'm here now for my wife's family Christmas. Can't believe this route hasn't been mentioned:

82 to Tuscaloosa/ take bypass of course, to Birmingham/ hit 65N all the way up to Nashville.

I go from Starkville, but I always start clocking my trip from Columbus (4hrs)

From Columbus: 1 hr to Tuscaloosa toll bridge / 1 hr to 65 split in Birmingham / 2 hrs straight up 65N = 4 hrs

Very pleasant trip and before u know it, ur rolling up thru Cool Springs (outskirts) 20 mins before your ETA.

*tip- exit 282 in Warrior, AL is the halfway mark. Excellent place(s) to top off ur gas and eat (McD's, little caesars, hardees, taco hell, pizza hut).

Best way by far.... Happy Motoring, dogs!

More evidence America is doomed, an E. Mississippian asking directions to Nashville?

You must consider... there will be county and state lines you must cross in your journey. But press on,and remember..there have beenmany... mississippians... that drove to Nashville, but walked back, good luck!</p>
