Looking over the stats, it was clear that the O-line is better. Only 5 penalties (at least one was a critical, BS holding call on a running play) for 40 yards. I like Eliot as a coach and I hope he sticks around. Heck, he might be better than the HC and he has HC experience.

As long as we're pointing out positives from the other night, I thought Williams Brice looked spectacular on TV. The announcers gave the atmosphere high praise. We don't lose games because our stadium or fans are lacking.

I like Elliott on the staff but he's not going to be our head coach nor do I want him to be. I'm not defending Shane when I say that. I like Sean and his passion but things didn't work out at GA State so we found a spot on our staff for him. If we're hiring Elliott as head coach, we should just keep Ray around as permanent AD because that's the kind of hire you'd expect out of him ("players love him and convinced me to hire him, blah blah blah").

Now as far as Sean being a better general coach than Shane, there may be some truth to that.
